Commercial locksmith in Villajoyosa, working around your opening hours

A shutter that will not lift an hour before lunch service, a glass door that no longer locks, a back door forced overnight, an employee who left with the keys. Shops, bars, restaurants and offices, with the work fitted around the hours you trade.

What businesses ring about

Shutters, shop doors, back doors and offices

  • Roller shutters: locks and padlocks that seize, shutters that will not release, keys that stopped turning.
  • Glass shop doors: the locks at the foot or the top of the glass, and the cylinders that work them.
  • Back and service doors: the delivery door, the door to the terrace, the door to the bins.
  • Offices: cylinders changed when staff move on, locks added to rooms and cabinets.
  • Locked out at opening time: keys forgotten at home or lost on the way in.

A business safe that will not open is on the safe page, and a forced shop door is first made secure, as on the page about break-ins.

On the seafront

Bars and restaurants by the beach

The bars and restaurants along the seafront and in the streets behind it work a few metres from the sea, in air that is humid most of the year. Shutter locks and padlocks take the worst of it: they sit outside all night, in salt and spray, and they are the first thing touched every morning. A lock that turns a little harder each week will one day not turn at all, usually at the worst moment. The guide to a seafront shutter that will not lift explains what to try and what not to before ringing.

In town

Shops on Colón, Canalejas and inside the walls

The shopping streets of La Vila grew along the old road through the town, Colón towards Valencia and Cervantes towards Alicante. Since June 2026 the bollards on calle Canalejas open only for authorised and emergency vehicles, and the streets of the historic centre are a restricted zone. None of that stops the work: the van parks at the edge and the tools come in on foot, as described on the old town page.

When staff change

New cylinders when keys leave with people

Restaurants and shops that take on extra staff for the summer end the season with keys in more pockets than they started with. Changing the cylinders of the front door, the shutter and the back door once the season ends is a short job, and it means nobody who has left can open up. Choosing the cylinders themselves is covered on the lock change page.

To book, say what doors and shutters there are and send photos through the contact page. Businesses outside the town, in Finestrat, Benidorm or the villages up the valley, are covered too: see the call-out area.

Asked on the phone

Opening hours, staff keys and bollards

Can you come before the shutters go up, or after the last table?

Planned work, yes: say your opening hours when you book and the visit is fitted around them. A shutter that will not lift in the morning is dealt with as soon as possible.

Do you work on industrial units or warehouses?

No. The commercial service covers shops, bars, restaurants and offices. Industrial units, metal gates and welding are outside what this business does.

A member of staff left with a set of keys. What should be changed?

The cylinders that set of keys opens: usually the front door and the shutter, sometimes the back door and the office. Changing cylinders is quick and the old keys stop working at once.

Our shop is on a street with bollards. Is that a problem?

No. Where the van cannot enter, it parks at the edge of the restricted street and the work is carried in. Tell us when you book so the right tools come in one trip.

A shutter or shop door holding up the day?

Ring, or WhatsApp a photo of the lock and the name of the business.
